Customer Service:

• Interaction with a patient population of all ages ranging from neonates to geriatrics, required
• Records patient information and informs appropriate provider
• Electronically documents data/information obtained on E-Care Line calls Education:
• Assists in orienting new employees to the Call Center (when applicable) Regulatory:
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience (Emergency/Urgent Care, Pediatrics, Primary Care); required
• Utilizes approved protocols and interim care to provide recommendations to callers experiencing medical symptoms
• Provides assistance to callers seeking information about community health and/or physicians
• Associates Degree in Nursing; required
• Must be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); required
• Assists with community health fairs (as needed) Recordkeeping/Reporting:
• Provides call back/follow-up services to patients (as needed) Community Relations:
• Assists E-Care Line callers with complaints and commendations and informs appropriate personnel of complaint/commendation
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Maintains continuing education (CE) hours
• Complies with applicable State/Federal policies/guidelines/regulations Requirements:
• Documents Compliance Hotline calls and submits information to NMHS Compliance Officer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; required
• Utilizes approved electronic health information and/or reference sources to provide health information to callers
• Working knowledge of computer hardware/software; required
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the States of Mississippi and Alabama; required
