Looking for Travel Phlebotomist/Medical Laboratory || 13 Weeks – 40 hours (Days shift) || $1,280 Weekly gross || Pella, IA 50219

Pay Rate:

Hourly: $32/hr. All-Inclusive. || $1,280 weekly gross.

Nontaxable Stipend:- $15.75/hr. || $630 weekly.

Taxable:- $16.25/hr.

OT Rate:- All Inclusive Rate (Overtime Starts After:40)

Call Back Rate: All Inclusive Rate

Job Details:

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the phlebotomist obtains and prepares specimens for analysis. The phlebotomist must demonstrate the ability to work with neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric persons. He/She participates in performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• A minimum of 1 year of previous health care experience in a direct patient care related role. Prior lab experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certification as a nursing assistant is preferred, not required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to learn phlebotomy skills and perform phlebotomy procedures competently.
• Ability to competently complete on-the-job training provided within the department.
• Basic clerical skills.
