Job Description

Mobile phlebotomist (independent contractor) duties: (NOT an employee based position)

  • Must be flexible between the hours of 7am-5pm Mon-Fri
  • Must pay attention to detail, label tubes & dropoff specimens properly & correctly to company/lab approved shipping facilities
  • Must have a centrifuge machine for serum or plasma sample requirements
  • Must already have or be able to obtain basic phlebotomy supplies right away: needles, holders, gauze, cotton balls, bandages, tourniquets and alcohol pads
  • Must have a smartphone to complete work
  • Must have phlebotomy liability insurance (covers your work as an independent contractor)
  • Must be a resident within the New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater or surrounding areas.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call

Experience:

  • Ongoing phlebotomy: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Phlebotomy liability insurance (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Phlebotomy supplies to collect blood samples-no tubes needed (Preferred)
  • Centrifuge machine (Preferred)
  • Smartphone to download mobile app (Required)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)

Work Location: On the road
