Primary accountabilities:

• Management of the product shipment cycle from carrier scheduling through loading and shipment to provide

• Accurate paperwork and billing
• Development of the most cost effective options
• A good reputation and relationship with carriers
• Prompt loading

• Organization and maintenance of the finished goods warehouse to provide

• Efficient loading capability
• Minimal handling damage
• A high degree of inventory accuracy

• Leadership of the shipping team

• Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
• Most efficient assignment of resources
• Team member selection
• Increasing levels of operator capability through training
• Accident free work environment

• Back up the Customer Service Representative/Planner

• Complaints handling
• Order entry
• Paper machine trimming
• Paper machine block scheduling
• Customer interface

Skills/ Experience required

• Knowledge of customers and customer requirements
• Experience with machine scheduling and trim techniques
• Mastery of the manufacturing execution system
• Knowledge of shipping documentation requirements and the billing process
• Experience with managing carriers
• Mastery of the basic elements of warehouse operations
• Demonstrated team skills

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Supervisory/leadership and strategic planning skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Customer focused
• 5 – 7 years of logistics/traffic experience required
• Oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred
