The Transportation and Logistic Coordinator is an essential role that helps a company get their product into the consumers’ hands in a timely manner, will work with various individuals within the Sales Department to ensure all steps of the physical inventory process and shipment delivery are processed within the estimated time.
This position is a fixed- term assignment which will not include benefits such as medical, health, dental, 401k, and is anticipated to last approximately through April 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and resolves work problems with the delivery routes. Reporting any change to supervisor.
- Support other departments as required and defined by objectives.
- Inform Consignment Coordinator of any discrepancies/expired material, etc. on product availability.
- Fill delivery documents (Conduce/Transfer Movements) and handle them to customer service.
- Manage consignment material to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Participate during cycle counts and record control held at stockrooms and storages to ensure a high level of inventory accuracy in different locations as per each unit’s count.
- Provides service to the Sales Department, ensuring that BD materials and equipment are delivered accurately and on time to hospitals and other institutions as needed for scheduled surgeries and emergencies.
- Additional duties required as assigned.
- Must follow and comply with company policies and procedures, as applicable in the role.
Qualifications:
Education and/ or Experience Required:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience with truck driver license (CAT. 4)
Additional Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Customer service-oriented
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to manage time and routes for streamlined delivery experience.
