Logistics Analyst Jobs

• Optimize warehouse item location configurations.
• Act as subject matter expert for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of a Warehouse Management System.
• Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.
• Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.
• Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.
• Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
• Train new users in WMS best practices
• Set up label printer network, hardware and equipment.
• Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance

• Undergraduate degree required. Degree in business, logistics/supply chain, operations, or engineering preferred.
• Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
• Available for travel (up to 50%), with the majority overseas (Japan and Guam)
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• This position requires Five (5) or more years’ work experience.

DESIRED SKILLS

• WMS implementation experience (Manhattan preferred)
