Job Description

Time and Attendance Systems Coordinator - ONE YEAR CONTRACT Assignment

100% Remote

The hourly rate will depend on years of experience and education


Our client is seeking an expert "troubleshooter" that can work within a time and attendance system!


  • Work REMOTE 100% of the time, with NO additional travel required
  • Overtime will be paid at time and a half; the position will average 5-10 hours of overtime a week
  • The opportunity to support multiple plants with your expertise and solve T&A system issues
  • If desired, potential for direct hire after one year


The Time and Attendance Systems Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of all time and attendance related activities for multiple domestic plants. This role involves working directly with the plant HR teams to ensure accurate time and absence tracking and reporting, compliance with labor laws, and efficient timesheet preparation for payroll processing. Responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track attendance, absences and other relevant metrics
  • Process employee absences, including reviewing and approving leave requests, managing accruals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing time and attendance, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • Coordinate the tracking and reporting of employee time and attendance, including maintaining accurate records in the HR system
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for time and absence-related inquiries from plant HR teams
  • Partner with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including reconciling time and attendance data
  • Provide training and support to managers and employees on time and absence policies and procedures


Candidates must be able to communicate directly and effectively at all levels, be team oriented and self-directed, take initiative on projects, have excellent investigative and analytical skills and enjoy problem solving within time and attendance software. This position requires candidates to support Monday payroll processes and be flexible with their availability during the week.


REQUIREMENTS for the Time and Attendance Systems Coordinator:

1. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of degree

2. At least 3-5 years in a similar time and attendance systems support role

3. Extensive experience working within time and attendance systems

4. Experience supporting organizations that have multiple shift schedules

5. Experience working with HRIS systems

6. Microsoft Office Products, including strong Excel skills

1. Manufacturing
