CoverTree, Inc. Is looking to hire a full-time Insurance Territory Representative to travel to manufactured home communities in the Arizona, New Mexico and Texas markets. The applicant hired will report 50%-50% to the Head of Partnerships and the Implementation Manager. The Territory Representative - Insurance Sales should be comfortable:
- Contacts and meets with prospective clients about insurance products and policies and/or to discuss adequacy of existing insurance coverage.
- Develop new opportunities from new leads, either through your own network, referrals or marketing efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Manage and grow existing partnerships with managers and residents in our portfolio.
- Builds customized insurance policies and packages to meet clients needs.
- Provide quotes, close sales orders and hand over all sales information to the implementation teams.
- Act as the voice of the customer and communicate customer needs and wants to internal teams.
- Explains various insurance policies and products to potential and existing clients; guides clients in selecting coverage to best meet their needs.
- Identify and qualify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and work with the sales team to ensure execution.
- Suggests modifications and updates to clients existing insurance policies.
- Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to identify and contact prospective clients.
- Proficient in GSuite.
- Extensive knowledge of various insurance products and policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
- Ability to determine the best insurance policy for individual clients.
Education and Experience:
- Three + years of related insurance sales experience required.
- Have an active property and casualty license to sell insurance in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting in a car, at a desk, and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary Structure:
$50k-$70k base with $80k-$100k OTE
