About Binghamton University
Binghamton, one of four university centers within the State University of New York, was named the premier public university in the northeast by The Fiske Guide to Colleges "because of its outstanding academic programs. . . and its commitment to undergraduates." Binghamton University enrolls about 16,900 students in programs leading to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. The University consists of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School of Education, the College of Community and Public Affairs, the School of Management, the Decker School of Nursing, and the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science. The Graduate School administers advanced-degree programs in these schools, but both our undergraduate and graduate students are taught by the same outstanding faculty. Twenty-six specialized research centers, along with three institutes for advanced studies and a GIS CORE facility, attract scholars from around the globe to Binghamton's modern campus.

Physical Facilities is accepting applications for potential job openings in its Temporary Summer Employment program (which includes the Summer Student Employment Program as well). Students who have been enrolled in the Spring semester 2023 or are currently enrolled in the Fall semester 2023 should answer the upcoming questions accordingly to identify as a student.
If selected, employment will begin Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and is anticipated to last through Friday, August 18, 20

• Possible work locations include; Custodial, Grounds, Painting and various Trades and Clerical. Some trades positions are anticipated to last through November 20
• These are temporary positions with no guarantee of continued employment or reemployment.

Requirements
Employment is open to students (any school not just Binghamton University students.), or anyone over the age of 17 looking for temporary work for the summer months. Positions are not guaranteed from year to year. Applicants with previous employment in our summer program should apply by April 1, 2023 for returning placement consideration. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.

Salary will be dependent upon position The pay range starts at $14.70 per hour.
