Telecommunications Project Manager Jobs

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager to join our team. The Telecom Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering telecom projects within the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical knowledge of telecom systems and infrastructure, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders, vendors, and project team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure project deliverables are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Lead project team meetings, provide direction and ensure project tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including internal departments and external customers.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Create and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structure (WBS), resource allocation, and risk management.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, project team members, and leadership.
• Plan, execute, and deliver telecom projects within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
• Perform project closeout activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and project evaluation.
• Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and standards.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize the impact on the project.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements related to telecom projects.
• 5+ years of experience in telecom project management, preferably in a telecom service provider environment.
• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and Teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of telecom systems and infrastructure, including voice and data networks, wireless technologies, and cloud-based services.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage project teams.
• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
