Job Description


As an Internet of Things Technical Sales Specialist, you will focus on iA FPGA Edge solutions for the vertical and horizontal markets served by Embedded Acceleration Division MAG business unit. You will focus on both chip down strategic designs as well as deal wins with ecosystem partners and end user consumption accounts. In addition, you will work across SMG sales organizations throughout the world to deliver architectural recommendations and deployments. Furthermore, build an ecosystem which provides various alternatives for our customers in terms of function and cost concerns.

This role will collaborate closely with the spectrum of DIBs customers value chain including but not limited to system integrators, solution integrators, solution providers, ISVs and service providers, integrators, resellers, distributors, ODMs, OEMs, and MNCs. The success of this role depends on building and maintaining strong relationships with peer software and hardware architecture teams, design teams and system integration teams.

The ideal candidate will need to understand software architecture specifications and solution designs for the MAG industry. Direct experience in system design and or FPGA design are required. Frequent cross-region travel may be required.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Evangelizing and winning the embedded architecture decisions in focused areas and accounts by offering unified, cohesive solutions based on Intel and its fellow travelers' products and services.
  • Collaborating with channel partners across the embedded customer continuum to deliver compelling solutions
  • Influence roadmap features to insure alignment with customer needs
  • Engaging technical decision makers, industry influencers, policy makers, and business leaders of existing and potential customers to drive awareness and early adoption of new Intel technologies, platforms and products.
  • Building relationships with key account executives, understanding customer business problems, helping them solve their problems and build business capabilities through the use of Intel based solutions, therefore positioning Intel as the thought leader in solving challenging business problems.
  • Developing Intel's architectural recommendations across domains, functions and provide technical support to ensure implementation
  • Working with Business Unit stakeholders and business development teams to understand market trends, industry needs, customer pain points and influence customer.

As a successful candidate you must possess:

  • Direct field experience in working with end customers.
  • Self starter with a positive can do attitude, experiences working in a multicultural environment, ability to communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing to executive staff and technical staff
  • Able to setup and demonstrate system solutions
  • Familiar with Internet of Things ecosystem partners


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of working experience in system design or knowledge of system level architecture, including HW and SW or knowledge of embedded Linux, device drivers, protocol stacks, system software
  • 3+ years of working experience at with System Integrators and end customers, playing specific roles, such as system architect, system analyst, system designer, or programmer
  • BS in Computer Science Engineering, EE or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience:
  • On Hardware and Software Environments, as well as heterogeneous systems environments
  • Familiarity with Intel's customers and products
  • Masters preferred; MBA preferred
  • Working on large government CAPEX projects
  • Prior account ownership experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $203,990.00-$326,170.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
