THE TEAM
The Marketplace Product team at Ticketmaster is responsible for the online and mobile face of the business and the technology behind it - which enables fans to discover, buy and access the music, sports, arts and theatre tickets they just can’t miss out on.

Ticketmaster has a commanding global presence, operating in 32 countries and attracting 1B annual digital visitors globally. It’s key that we can showcase our breadth of content to fans, merchandise world tours and satiate the desire for die-hard fans to follow their favourite artist or team anywhere in the world.
As a Technical Product Manager in our Identity team, our mission is to ensure genuine fans get access to tickets and to prevent scalpers and bots from purchasing tickets. You’ll be working on one of the most important areas across
Ticketmaster alongside our Data scientists.
You will be comfortable working with APIs, understand the ingestion of data sources & subsequent incorporation into data models. You will get to collaborate on technology solutions where we seek to integrate third party identity verification services. You will have the opportunity to scale our existing scoring product suite globally while maintaining stability and quality.
Responsibilities
  • Technical aptitude specific to APIs services, data flows and storage.
  • Product life cycle management - roadmap prioritization, requirements gathering and documentation, delivery and post-launch.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across product, engineering, support, legal and exec.
  • Clear communication, including the ability to simplify technical concepts for general discussion.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in dealing with remote colleagues, across business areas and levels.
  • 3-5 years product management experience in technology-focused business, working with data or machine learning products.
  • Understanding of agile product management techniques, including Epic and Story creation.
  • Proven research and discovery skills including competitive analysis, usage reporting, data modelling, and testing.
  • Experienced with the principles of data modelling and statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience of interpreting business needs and converting to requirements.
  • Understand the machine learning product lifecycle and anticipate the pre/post-launch obstacles.
