Junior Business System Analyst Intern

SUMMARY

Location: Island Hospitality Management Corporate Office

Position Type: Non-Management, Internship

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

We are seeking a Junior Business System Analyst Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to end-users, managing user accounts, maintaining GL mapping, creating and analyzing ad hoc reports, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position.

This position is based in West Palm Beach, Florida and requires in-office work daily.

Job Requirements:

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
• Maintain GL mapping and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and analyze ad hoc reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide support to end-users on system functionality and best practices for various systems including accounting, ERP, revenue management, and POS.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to management.
• Manage and maintain user accounts in business systems.
• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new system functionality.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in Financial Analysis
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Proficiency in working with both Microsoft Excel-based models and creating PowerPoint presentations
• Undergraduate Degree
