Location:
Broomfield, CO - Elevations Basecamp
Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective:
The SVP Strategy & Performance is responsible for driving the collective development and successful execution of our strategic plan and business plan. This role leads the organization’s Enterprise Project Management Office, Continuous Improvement, and Business Intelligence functions.
The SVP Strategy & Performance leads and partners with cross-functional teams to align people, processes, and technologies to successfully deliver Elevations’ strategic objectives and growth initiatives. Through effective planning, this leader ensures delivery and prioritization of the project portfolio. The SVP Strategy & Performance is the champion for driving continuous improvement across the organization by leveraging the Baldrige framework.
Essential Functions include:
  • Ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives and projects by owning, developing, and implementing robust execution frameworks.
  • Furthers executive team effort to foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the continued development, deployment, and integration of enterprise business intelligence to deepen member relationships, improve business performance, support strategic planning and execution, and enable predictive analytics.
  • Directs organization’s pursuit of performance excellence by curating a living Baldrige application, coordinating the examination and feedback process, serving as an internal subject matter expert, educating the workforce on the Baldrige principles, and integrating the criteria in how we continuously learn and improve as an organization. Serve as primary representative to the Baldrige community for the credit union.
  • Resources are deployed in a manner that optimizes the value created for our membership, and
  • Lead and actively participate in defined meeting forums to ensure:
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and allocate resources appropriately to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Leads organization’s scenario planning process, monitoring external trends to ensure organization’s competitive position in the market.
  • Strengthens operational execution, collaboration, alignment, and drives crisp delivery in a complex multi-team/multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Serve as primary designer of the credit union’s operational rhythm to leverage our core competencies and achieve strategic goals.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
  • 10+ years' experience in business strategy, product strategy, project management, project portfolio management, or business analysis
  • 7+ years leadership experience in increasingly complex roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business process transformation and organizational change management based on best practices.
  • Proven ability to define end-to-end product strategy and go-to-market of new and innovative products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Subject matter expert with advanced depth/breadth of knowledge in business analysis including business case development, business process management and process improvement, requirements elicitation and capture, and performance management.
  • Experience in leveraging a continuous improvement framework such as the Baldrige Performance Excellence program
  • Proficient in business planning and strategy development.
  • Skilled in the use of project management disciplines and tools (such as Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, SDLC) and in the processes of portfolio management and resource management across multiple projects and delivery teams
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:
  • CBAP certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in management consulting or banking and financial services
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Working knowledge of technology, particularly how systems and applications integrate with business processes and operations.
Work Environment:
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Compensation Information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $175,640 and $263,460, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
