Job Description
Overview: The Technical Analyst Sales Performance is primarily responsible for the business support, optimization, and enhancement of the RNDC Sales Performance/Sales Compensation application platforms. Those platforms are responsible for the tracking and payout for 7000+ payees in accordance with incentive/commission compensation plans and sales goals, with more than 300 users accessing those platforms. Sales incentives programs total more than 200 per month per RNDC market. Responsibilities:
  • Setup new Sales Performance/Incentive plans and day-to-day processing / execution.
  • Assist with the definition of policy, governance and business processes for Sales Performance / Sales Comp. Assist with UAT and Testing
  • Serve as the architectural Subject Matter Expert for the sales performance / sales comp platforms and applications.
  • Translate business requirements to user stories for technology implementation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expertise in sales performance application model design along with a good technical understanding of sales performance application platforms. Strong knowledge in Design, Development and Testing of business technology applications. Two or more years of wine and spirits distribution industry knowledge. Prior experiences with a sales performance management tool similar to Varicent or SAP Callidus. Minimal Travel Required (5-10%). We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.   • Build reporting and analytics to share with Sales Performance Group, as well as Regional Presidents and State VPS. Understanding of business incentive requirements, supplier investments, sales force workload, and ability to provide ROI on incentives.
  • Build customized reporting / dashboards (Supplier facing, ELT facing, State Facing, Divisional Facing)
  • Deliver hypercare by providing technical support and responding to inquiries from the Finance/Portfolio Managers, Regional Sales Managers and RNDC markets
  • Identify software application and reporting issues and gaps in functionality and drive timely resolution
  • Participate in the technical design, system administration, security, and business management of the sales performance and sales compensation applications and platforms.
  • Standardize incentive reporting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including RNDC Markets, HR-Comp, and Supplier Finance to ensure all compensation and SPM methodologies, polices, and procedures are working as designed
