Surgical Technologist - Labor/Delivery at Providence St Vincent Medical Center

Works closely with all members of the surgical team to provide direct patient care in an effort to optimize positive surgical outcomes. Assists the surgeon and surgical team during the procedure by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required qualifications:

• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Required upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

New Graduate requirements:

• A recent graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program must obtain a surgical technologist certification issued by a nationally accredited certifying organization for surgical technologists that is approved by the Oregon Health Authority within twelve (12) months of completion of a surgical technologist program
