Job Description
Position Summary


We are seeking a Supply Planner to join our team focusing on sales and operations planning. The successful candidate will have experience with supply/inventory planning, backlog reporting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will lead the organization in how we will service Noble’s customer demand while still meeting its financial and service goals.

Essential Functions Statements


  • Key contributor to procurement plans and inventory management
  • Create communication forums to address off-cycle problems and close gaps to plan
  • Maximize service levels in all markets, maintain a healthy level of inventory, pivot in response to fluctuations in orders and forecasts, and represent the supply chain as a steward of inventory and cost
  • Creation and updating of inventory plans across specific categories, balancing supply chain constraints, demand priorities, overall inventory levels, and associating service impacts
  • Collaboration with demand planning, production, logistics, and sales, acting as an orchestrator to ensure the best outcomes for Noble
  • Ensure planning KPIs are accurate and shared with the business in a regular, timely fashion
  • Coordinate special projects aimed at alleviating demand/supply imbalances
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex organization
  • The supply planner oversees and executes the global inventory planning and fulfillment process


Position Qualifications

Education And Experience


Select the appropriate combination of education, experience and training required to perform the essential elements of the job effectively under normal supervision:


  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; and four to six years of business- related progressive experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of training and relevant business experience


Computer Skills


  • MS Office Suite
  • Understanding and experience with NetSuite of equivalent ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
  • Salesforce
  • Blue Ridge or equivalent preferred


Mathematical Skills


  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis


REASONING ABILITY


  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
