Supply Chain Manager Jobs

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

• Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate.
• Serve as expert resource to the warehouse and logistics teams, assisting with KPI/SLA compliance and tracking for all warehouse functional areas (receiving, returns, order cycle time, inventory accuracy, and other related service level agreements)
• Work with Training Team to support fulfillment training and new store onboarding.
• Responsible for eCommerce supply chain technology, including Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Transportation Management Software (TMS), and fulfillment network
• Work with vendor suppliers to develop and use vendor scorecards to resolve chronic issues such as lead time, fill rate, data quality, cost, and pricing accuracy, etc. to drive toward a world-class supply chain organization
• Manage the end-to-end eCommerce supply chain
• Identify and maintain log of current issues, identify root causes of problems, and determine root cause fix for issues such as: Low Stock Issues, Minimizing Shortages, Missing Lines, ASN Issues, Mis-ships, Vendor shortages/overages/ mispacks
• Coordinate supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, and profitability maximization with internal departments, including but not limited to: Purchasing, Finance, Sales, Logistics, IT; and external suppliers and freight forwarders
• Partner with product and operation teams to provide efficient and optimal supply chain solutions for domestic eCommerce
• Work directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
• Continually develop personal and professional skills, staying on top of emerging trends and industry best practices
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations
• Determine reporting needs and organize reports for leadership on a regular basis. Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through KPIs.
• Prepare concise, accurate business reports to present to colleagues and management.
• Ensure that orders are processed timely and in compliance with documented SLAs.
• Develop a supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
• Monitor and corrects inventory levels, externally and internally, to ensure optimized inventory rotation and maximized working capital.
• Collaborate with procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
• Participate in division cost studies and help identify opportunities for continual improvement within our distribution network.

Qualifications of the Supply Chain Manager:

• Exceptional data analysis
• Demonstrates a proven record of success as a project leader including monitoring project issues and escalation.
• Highly organized with the ability to problem solve and make decisions
• Results Oriented: The ideal candidate will be results-driven and must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and be willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions
• 8+ years of 3PL and supply chain management
• Advanced proficiency in relational DB’s (Access or SQL)
• Basic familiarity with Marketing and online sales channels
• Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, and presentation
• And focus on priorities
• Experience in automotive parts logistics
• Strong understanding of the automotive parts industry and participants
• Able to use excellent judgement and resolve issues quickly
• Strong knowledge of warehouse business processes
• 4+ years of eCommerce supply chain management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders
• Expert in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, graphs, etc.) and WMS / TMS systems
• Bachelor’s degree in business or Transportation & Logistics
• Ability to work well in a diverse, fast-paced environment and culture
