Job Description

Supply Chain Coordinator – Hybrid work (Office + Home-Office)


Your tasks will include:


Purpose of Job


The supply chain coordinator is responsible for managing inventory, the order cycle, inbound and outbound and manages current 3PLs.

  • Work closely with Customer Service team to ensure customers are properly attended.
  • Maintain contracts with 3PLs and carriers and analyze performance of each against KPIs.
  • Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues. Must be detailed oriented and able to assist and provide the necessary data and documents required for audits. This person will also work with internal and external parties to ensure completion of schedules. Overall responsibility for logistics/ traffic management, customs documentation and commercial invoicing of finished product shipments plants, external vendors to NA region warehouses and internal transfers between warehouses. Ensures weekly In-transit reporting is completed and follows-up with 3PL concerning delayed shipments, updates systems, planning and customer service teams on revised ETA (estimate data of arrivals) dates.
  • Maintain the approved supplier database, product database in ERP system, and conduct quarterly supplier scorecards review meetings.
  • Compile, review, verify, and – when necessary – dispute logistic-related chargebacks from customers, and erroneous charges from suppliers/carriers
  • Coordinators must work with 3PL to perform inventory cycle counts as required.
  • Coordinate the purchase of materials and services and follow-up with vendors to ensure that the purchase orders have the correct price, freight charge, and delivery date supporting the fulfillment to customers. Coordinate with the quality assurance (QA) inspectors and warehouse to ensure the quality of the purchased parts and services.



You will learn activities on demand planning to cover members of staff whenever required.


Experience

  • Excellent PC skills, incl. Microsoft Office and a major ERP system (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Experience in multi-regional logistics networks.
  • Experience in professional reporting techniques.
  • Experience in a strong analytical environment.
  • 2 years relevant Operations/ supply organization.
