We are now seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator / Purchasing Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Coordinator / Purchasing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our supply chain and procurement processes. You will collaborate with various departments and external suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with purchasing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about logistics, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure optimal availability.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier performance.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to suggest process improvements.
  • Coordinate and track shipments, including handling all necessary documentation and customs requirements for international exports.
  • Assist in negotiating prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain or logistics-related issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and purchasing activities.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize transportation and distribution activities.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management principles and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a supply chain coordination or purchasing role is a plus, but we also encourage candidates with transferable skills or relevant internships to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and MS Office Suite is a plus.
