Position Summary

The Corporate Communications team intern will support members of the U.S. Corporate Communications team. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, always thinking one step ahead and interested in pursuing a career in the communications field. The person in this position will work closely with SHEIN executives and can be based out of our Los Angeles or Washington, D.C. office. With attention to detail and a collaborative spirit, the Corporate Communications intern will be part of an exciting growth journey with SHEIN.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating details for upcoming office openings
• Drafting daily team updates reports
• Coordinating with cross-functional and regional teams on messaging, event logistics, scheduling and stakeholder relations
• Drafting daily media monitoring report
• Administrative tasks including vendor payments and travel/expenses for team leadership
• Drafting press materials including media lists and pitches
• Managing team calendar with upcoming media interviews/speaking engagements

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail and prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Team player with an ability to roll up your sleeves and oversee projects independently from start to finish
• Rising college senior or recent college graduate with major in communications, marketing or a related field
• General knowledge of or interest in the retail industry

Internship Timeframe: Summer 2023 – 12 weeks (working 20-25 hours a week)

Internship Salary: $25 per hour.
