Job Responsibilities:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists assigned agencies with information, resolving problems, and provide services
- Applies problem solving, analytical, computer, research and documentation skills
- Designs, coordinates, and oversees internal projects
- Assists with the management of consulting activities
- Participates in organizing and structuring program evaluations
- Supervises and plans work of assigned staff
- Plans, organizes, and administers program evaluation and management studies projects
- Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas
- Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Analyzes and evaluates agency budget requests
Job Summary:
Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Plans, coordinates, organizes, and assesses the development and implementation of a functional program including program evaluation, and program management. Oversees, develops, and implements policy, procedures, and processes. May be responsible for program budgeting. Strategically plans for function based on complex and comprehensive research.
This role will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the project, communicating with stakeholders, and organizing meetings between the project team and stakeholders, and co-leading meetings with the communities being served. They will assist in the development and tracking of project evaluation procedures and assessments, and they will prepare reports of the results of behavioral health assessments and services, manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored, and monitor and present weekly progress on project goals.
- Develops strategic partnerships among philanthropy, nonprofit and private sector in order to create better outcomes for those at risk for suicide.
- Identifies and brokers innovative partnerships and strategic collaborations to encourage programs or policy reforms that align with the priorities of Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
- Monitors and tracks the effectiveness of key partnerships.
- Responsible for budget tracking, staff supervision, and reporting to funder.
- Cultivates and maintains strategic organizational and individual partnerships with the leadership and program staff of governmental agencies, philanthropy, nonprofit group, etc.
- Analyzes research, emerging issues, policy interventions and innovations to cultivate collaboration opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with public and private entities to plan, develop, and advance those initiatives that the can community agree upon and have the most potential to support the health and well-being of youth, first responder, and other at risk for suicide in Georgia and align with the Georgia’s suicide prevention strategic plan.
