Summary:
This position is responsible for administering, scheduling, and proctoring United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USLME) for Step 1, 2 and 3. The position is also responsible for coordinating events and programing to support the medical students.
This position is full-time, onsite, and not remote. Resume and cover letter is required to be considered for this position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with testing administration in secondary or higher education
Experience working in an academic institution.
Experience with project or event coordination.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet student needs.
Ability to interact effectively with physicians, administrators, students, and other professionals.
Ability to consistently deliver superior customer service.
Ability to comply with instructions, procedures, standards, and policies.
Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Ability to work accurately and independently.
Experience working with confidential information.
Will be required to pass USMLE certifying exam for proctors.
Job Duties Outlined:
Oversee the policies and procedures of the Prometric Testing Center.
Coordinate scheduling of exams, proctors, and timesheet documentation.
Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, problem solving, and training in the testing center.
Maintain security and confidentiality of candidate information and testing practices.
Proctor United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USLME) for Step 1, 2, and 3.
Proctor first year student exams
Coordinate the Issues in Medicine course for third year students. Prepare and distribute schedules, evaluations, and course materials to students and faculty. Contact local speakers when necessary.
Coordinate details of second year November professional development seminar.
Coordinate scheduling and faculty recruitment for mock interviews and the specialty fair.
Coordinate the phase II coaching program, including scheduling and communication with coaches and students.
Coordinate student wellness programing.
Coordinate all activities for Match Day.
Coordinate the Dean's Holiday Dinner
Coordinate graduation activities which includes scheduling senior photographs, communicating graduation and regalia details to the students and faculty, and reserving a plane when requested.
Coordinate class elections and student recognition awards.
Coordinate the phase II peer mentoring program.
Coordinate student interest group funding requests and yearly website maintenance.
Oversee Jager Society events.
Responsible for department and student snack supply shopping.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
