  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, retail operations, financial modeling, or analytics.
  • 10 years of experience in sales operations, enterprise, business strategy, investment banking, demand planning, corporate advisory, supply chain, or related business areas.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to assess and analyze market and competitive information to produce comprehensive industry analysis.
  • 5 years of experience in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or retail/carrier industry.
  • Experience building analysis or data visualizations in spreadsheet software, Tableau, or SQL.
About The Job
The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you'll work with a variety of stakeholders from Business, Supply Chain, Product, Marketing, and Finance, to launch new products and technologies with our third-party partners and the Google Store.
In this role, you will manage the consolidated weekly/monthly/annual demand forecast, working closely with regional counterparts to understand demand drivers and changes to the forecast.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $169,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Work with Sales teams to build plans to mitigate risks and drive business performance, leading ad hoc analysis projects on market and performance trends, or support the preparation of business reviews to provide actionable insights to Leadership.
  • Interpret market data to collaborate with product planning on market sizing across markets/products. Help in setting annual and quarterly goals for each product category.
  • Manage global pixel ecosystem demand forecast, consolidating inputs from each of the Regional Sales Operations teams, sharing consolidated demand forecasts with key cross-functional partners and speaking to business drivers of forecast changes.
  • Collaborate with supply planning in times of product constraints (shortages) to maximize business and support partners.
  • Understand, interpret, and visualize business performance and changing market trends to key internal and external stakeholders.
