SUMMARY
U.S. Bank is seeking a highly effective and dynamic Strategic Initiatives Specialist to join our team in the pursuit of effectively delivering solutions to positively impact the Employee Experience In Consumer and Business Banking Operations. This strategic role will collaborate with internal partners to drive an enterprise approach to foster a culture of engagement, recognition and community service, promote personal growth through development opportunities, improve performance metrics through employee performance scorecards, drive change management and strengthen communication strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the creation, implementation, and positive resolution of strategic initiatives to optimize the overall employee experience. Specifically formulates proposals to drive higher employee engagement, improve employee/leader communication, drive change management and adoption of strategies and increase personal development opportunity. Evaluates current process for efficiency and improvement. Looks for innovative and creative solutions to achieve goals. Develops and executes communication plans to promote a high level of awareness of projects with a strong focus on storytelling. Obtain and analyze data to develop strategic approach. Recommends plan of action based on analysis. Ensures results achieved in post-mortem reviews. Will occasionally serve as a liaison to enterprise partners to effectively execute strategic initiatives. Provides support to all team initiatives where needed.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six or more years of related experience
- Advanced understanding of project management and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
- Strong computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications, i.e., SharePoint, Power Point, Power BI and Power Aps.
- Ability to work as part of a project team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
- Creative approach to problem solving
