Job Description

The Generalist is responsible for assisting with administration of policies and programs covering the talent lifecycle, HR strategy delivery and associate relations in a fast-paced retail culture.


This role supports HR initiatives in areas of policy and program administration, associate relations, hiring, orientation, on-boarding, development, and retention. Must possess the ability to:

  • Supports updating organizational charts, headcount tracking reports and other systems.
  • Conducts exit interviews with associates leaving the business, shares feedback with leaders, and follows the appropriate termination process as dictated by the situation.
  • Provide direction to client group on HR related questions including hiring, onboarding, associate development, performance management, change management, succession planning, associate relations, and associate retention
  • Support teams with action planning for Associate Opinion Survey
  • Ability to support HR projects and company initiatives
  • Assist HR team and business leaders to execute talent management strategies for client groups.
  • Help facilitate the contingent labor process.
  • Supports the delivery of appropriate onboarding tools and information to the new hires and managers prior to their first day.
