Job Description
Job Duties include:


  • Scheduling all shifts for both Nurses and CNAs
  • Must be creative with completing the schedule and filling in all open shifts
  • Handling special projects and other duties as assigned by DON/Administrator
  • Must have recent experience as a Scheduler in a skilled healthcare facility
  • Running weekly reports to ensure all clients are scheduled
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills; close and constant communication with nursing staff and administration
  • Keeping DON, ADON, and Administrator informed of staffing needs and scheduling difficulties


Requirements:


  • Long term care experience
  • Computer literate
  • Heavy phone contact
  • Adaptable to any situation and able to concentrate under stress and tension
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
