Staff / Principal Modem Platform Performance Engineer

We are excited to build up a modem platform team in San Diego, California to develop Modem technology, optimize product performance and resolve corresponding issues. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with world class R&D teams to deliver efficient and stable modem platform solutions for our customers. We are looking for modem platform talents with accountability, pro-active attitude and strong teamwork skills to join us!

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven engineer to join our team. You will contribute to analyze complicated Modem issues and improve system performance.

1) Help internal or external customers resolve complicated system issues

2) Develop systematic methods to analyze software/firmware/hardware behaviors for performance improvement

3) Work with cross-site professionals in the company to determine needs for platform design

Qualification

1) 4 years of experience with software development

2) Experience in Driver or Kernel (for any RTOS) or embedded system development

3) Familiar with C or C++ or any Script programming language

4) Nice-to-have: Experience in Software Architect or Platform Architect or similar roles

Salary range: $156,000- $266,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
