Staff Accountant / Payroll Specialist

KC & Company, P.C., an established local CPA firm, has an opening for a full-time Staff Accountant. This position requires 4+ years of accounting and payroll experience and a motivated self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Public accounting experience preferred.

Job Duties include:

• Preparation of payroll and payroll reports and related payroll matters for multiple clients
• Accounting services at various levels, including but not limited to, month end reconciliations and journal entries, maintaining accounts payable and assisting clients with oversight of general ledger and bookkeeping needs.
• Preparation of compiled financial statements.
• Strong communication and writing skills required for client contact
• Attention to Detail and multi-tasking essential to succeed in position
• Experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and similar payroll and accounting software a must
