Job Title: SSIS/ETL Developer
Job summary :
Strong SQL Skills
Design and build ETL/Data Engineering solutions using SSIS with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and high-reliability
Ability to build ETL pipelines using SSIS based on technical specification documents / source to target mapping specs
Perform data profiling on source data to understand its DQ and other challenges to ensure the ETL design is solutioned appropriately
Implement incremental /full load data pipelines using SSIS against varied source and target platforms.
Use best fit latest SSIS features to develop the data engineering pipelines for business needs.
Ability to tune SSIS packages and underlying SQL statements for best performance.
Unit testing, Support System Testing and UAT
Code optimization / tuning under guidance from Architects
Perform peer reviews
Qualifications:
Ensuring the highest quality on every project/request. Responsible for error resolution, follow up and performance metrics monitoring.
Excellent problem solving skills
Self-motivated, takes initiative to identify, communicate, and resolve potential issues
Experience with Healthcare Payer related BI implementations is an added advantage
Experience with FLEXI(banking product) is an added advantage
Readiness to work in CST Hours
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
