Associate – Entry Level Tax Accountant
Locations: Palm Beach Gardens, FL| Hybrid

SS&C, through our partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC (d/b/a Luminae Partners ), is currently seeking a candidate who will be part of a multi-dimensional middle to back office operations and accounting department responsible for all aspects of post trade matching, trade capture, and all aspects of daily operations, treasury services, accounting and tax compliance, planning and reporting. The ideal candidate is one who works or has worked within a multi-strategy hedge fund, financial institution or hedge fund administrator with solid exposure to fund accounting, OMS/PMS integration, middle office post trade reporting and operations.

What You Will Get To Do:
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects and help develop process improvements related to increasing efficiency of the group
  • Assist in any research regarding Federal, State, and International tax issues
  • Coordinate with tax advisor to provide information required to complete US tax reporting requirements
  • Assist in the tax compliance process by gather, assembling, and preparing various tax related workpapers and tax forms.
  • Participate in technology automation, procedure development, and other special projects
What You Will Bring:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 0 to years tax accounting firm experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
