DomaniRx is an organization focused on shaping the future of Pharmacy Benefit Management by delivering a cloud-native, API-driven claims adjudication platform. Our team is made up of engineers with varying levels of professional experience and backgrounds, from new graduates to 20-year veterans of the healthcare industry. As a senior software quality engineer, you will work with a wide array of technologies and collaborate with a team of software engineers. Don’t consider yourself a software quality engineer today? No worries! Come with an aptitude and appreciation for learning and you will grow into this highly desired role.
This position is full-time, and location is flexible.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop detailed test plan documents describing the approach to be taken for automating the feature
  • Build automated testing capabilities using available software tools.
  • Report defects and follow up with cross teams. Repeats the testing cycle until the new application works flawlessly.
  • Assume ownership of test modules and/or technology areas.
  • Obtain and review requirements from Product Owners indicating the business needs and functionalities of the proposed application and plan for test strategy.
  • Responds to and engages with multiple teams for escalated production issues and help test in development and production environment
  • Build automated testing in Selenium, Cucumber and Java for both API and UI testing
  • Conduct functional testing and integration testing of application and prepare documentations
  • Discuss scenarios and fixes with software engineers.
  • Identify software bugs and document them in an issue tracking system.
Qualifications:
  • Infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt
  • Containers and virtualization such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, AWS, OpenStack
  • Knowledge and experience with Java and / or JavaScript based development
  • Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
  • Understands RESTful APIs
  • Database experience with SQL query
  • Regression and Manual Testing
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience with testing of Java based application frameworks (API and UX) using automation tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, JMock, Junit, TestNG, SoapUI and Postman.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles and highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product development cycles.
  • 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in software testing including automation
  • Knowledge of Quality and Systems Development methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Subversion, GIT
  • Ability to understand functional and technical specifications and analyze data and output logs.
  • Highly analytical, pro‐active and detail oriented
Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of containers and virtualization such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, AWS, OpenStack
  • Any build tools such as maven, gradle, ant
  • Desire to mentor junior quality engineers and assist with intern project designs.
  • Any Infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt
  • Knowledge or have worked with SAFe/Agile scrum teams.
