Compensation: $105,000.00 - $127,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer has a strong background in Microsoft technologies and an ability to work as a key member in a development team for a rapidly growing company. Our company provides Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software for large corporations. Our product is designed for high-end deployments at customer facilities or in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The core engine contains complex OLAP, multi-dimensional, multi-server, multi-threading, web, and SQL technologies and is specifically designed to solve problems for the Office of Finance at extremely large corporations. The products our development team will focus on will include, but not be limited to, software solutions built on our development platform as well as application configuration projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform thorough testing procedures on each product’s functional areas.
• Assist in product releases by testing and validating fixes and features.
• Validate and document completion of testing and development.
• Work with a team of developers to produce quality releases.
• Identifying bugs, defects, and regressions.
• Design, implement, execute, and debug information technology test cases and scripts.
• Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including setup of complex production simulation environments.
• Automated test cases.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Visual Studio, DevExpress, TFS, and GIT.
• 8-10+ years quality assurance experience, preferably in Financial Applications.
• Experience with the following technologies:
  • VB .Net or C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Web Services, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, XAML, XML, MVC, HTML5 and CSS
  • Visual Studio, DevExpress, TFS, and GIT.
• EPM/CPM Knowledge or financial background.
• OLAP and multidimensionality.
• VB .Net or C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Web Services, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, XAML, XML, MVC, HTML5 and CSS
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Xray, SQL Server, Quality Center, Load Runner, Selenium or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or IT-related field or equivalent technical discipline experience.
• Recent Microsoft technology focus.
• Experience with Software testing.
• Enterprise software experience, Cloud or SaaS providers, or web application providers is key.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• OneStream XF
• Other EPM solutions.
• SAP BOFC (Cartesis).
• Tagetik
• Experience with Consolidation Software, such as:
  • OneStream XF
  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • SAP BOFC (Cartesis).
  • SAP Outlooksoft BPC.
  • IBM Cognos.
  • Tagetik
  • Other EPM solutions.
• IBM Cognos.
• SAP Outlooksoft BPC.
• Master’s degree in engineering or IT-related field
