The Opportunity


Adobe is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer ing Manager to build innovative and user-friendly experiences to power the next generation of customer experience management solution - the Magic Quadrant-leading Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). You will partner closely with Adobe Product Managers, Architects, and the Adobe Experience Design team and you will lead a full - stack t eam develop ing innovative Products for Adobe Experience Cloud.


What you'll do


  • Lead a full - stack engineer ing team through the research, technical design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of software.
  • Deliver best-in-class, responsive and scalable solutions ready for mass audiences.
  • Drive efforts to improve technical quality and solutions through code reviews, architecture reviews, test suite strategy, leading by example, etc.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with partner teams, both local and remote, in completing interdependent work items .
  • Drive front-end and back-end engineering initiatives, aiding UI (User Interface) Architects, and ensuring technical quality.


What you need to succeed


  • Exemplify a growth-mindset with an ability to learn new technologies and to sustain a high degree of technical involvement with your team .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
  • Solid foundation in software engineering process es & standard methodologies ( e.g., unit testing, build automation, CI/CD, etc.) .
  • 10 + years of professional experience building highly performant and sophisticated web applications using modern web development technologies, with at least 6 + years of leadership experience .
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (or similar public cloud services)
  • Professional Experience with REST - based microservices using Java or Node.js, and cloud native developmen t.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL and Apollo
  • Passion for building full-stack products s; well thought through end-to-end solutions and User Experiences are second nature to you.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency .
  • Professional Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and responsive web design
  • Proven track record of successful execution of the complete software development lifecycle

  • Experience leading agile software development efforts . Experience sharing knowing with the larger tech community ( i.e., t echnical t alks, b log p osts, conference paper s , etc . )


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,300 -- $268,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.


At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).


In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
