Job Description

Position objectives: The ideal candidate will innovatively provide trend and market insights to Client's Flavors’ key customers. This position works cross-functionally in the organization and has customer facing interactions. This employee will strengthen Client's brand awareness in the American markets while managing internal creative R&D projects and samples in these product categories. By maintaining a good customer and market knowledge, this candidate will be able to successfully build and iterate on our products.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead development and execution of category vision, ensuring prioritization and proper communication across the organization.
  • Collaborate with global product management peers to monitor market trends and competitive actions.
  • Design promotion concepts in cooperation with product application and R&D.
  • Support sales on market development based on market, customer & segment analysis.
  • Work on a portfolio, marketing & customer strategy while collaborating with the management.
  • Work with the sales team as the product expert and visit customers as needed.
  • Selection of customer flavor samples.
  • Internalize and represent the customers' voice throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Other Project Management activities as needed.
  • Create a product communication strategy and execute.
  • Develop trend and segment analysis based on customer requests.
  • Creates and distributes quarterly content for SFI external Newsletter.
  • Define the product vision and drive the roadmap for our products.
  • Develop and manage all marketing materials such as, Product presentations, blogs, social media post, articles, videos, etc.
  • Continuous portfolio development based on market requirements.
  • Customer project management by supporting the SOP process, new item introduction, and managing all aspects of the portfolio.

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently from inception through completion within specified timelines.
  • Should be a creative thinker and team player, enjoy customer contact and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and to teach others.


Education and professional experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Business Administration or Marketing
  • Dedicated to serve your customers; and committed to support your team.
  • Experience in confectionery is a plus.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in product, portfolio management or project coordination preferably in the food ingredient or flavor industry
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of graphic design and marketing, using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Professional marketing background with experience preferably in the food ingredient or flavor industry.
