Position Summary:
Royal Caribbean is looking for a Sr Manager to lead HR Data & Analytics Client Account Management. This role will lead a small team of Client Account Managers who will align to a designated Brand, partnering with HRBPs and the Business to provide targeted data insights and proactively anticipate data & analytics need. The Sr. Manager will also serve as Account Manager for a designated Brand.
The ideal candidate enjoys using data to deliver insights through storytelling and making an impact on Employee experience for over 100K employees from over 120 countries. We are looking for an individual who can solve problems using a hypothesis driven approach and deliver compelling stories and consultatively work with our Brand leaders to drive solutions that impact business outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Derive insights by analyzing qualitative and quantitative employee survey data, shore side and shipboard data and other workforce signals
- Conduct internal quality checks as control point before data is provided to stakeholders
- Able to design, develop and deploy analytical models which might be prescriptive or predictive depending on the use-case and deliver actionable insights to impact business outcomes
- Build and lead small team of HR Data & Analytics Client Account Managers
- Serve as primary point of contact for incoming HR data requests from HRBPs and Sr. Leaders to drive efficiencies, continuously prioritize data needs, and advise the Brand on data-related topics
- Act as a consultative partner and a key enabler for HR and business leaders with insights that support their People strategy
- Build key stakeholder relationships to function as a true partner to the aligned Brand and HRBPs
- Collaborate with HR business partners to guide and consults around the insights of HR analytics, score cards, and dashboards
- Influence partners and stakeholders through data-driven discussions
- Route incoming requests to Data & Analytics SMEs based on data elements required
- Build compelling stories around People problems/initiatives/outcomes to help HR and Business leaders to make optimal decisions
- Champion the data privacy rules and demonstrate exceptional judgement when dealing with sensitive People data
- Create visually appealing presentations of data points to convey a clear story to stakeholders
- Derive insights from data outputs and translate them to meaningful conclusions and / or actionable items relevant to the Brand
- Create awareness around possibilities of Analytical outcomes and focus on business outcomes
- Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines
- Translate the Brand’s needs into data requests using thorough knowledge of data elements available in Data Warehouse and other source systems
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly consultative and able to influence others by building relationships and trust
- Working knowledge of Advance Analytics Methodology
- Experience creating complex data analysis and insights that help drive business results
- Ability to creatively solve problems for which the answers aren’t always obvious
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strength in both written and verbal communication in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management.
- Expert in data visualization tools and solid experiences developing SMART dashboards delivering insightful trends
- Highly proficient in developing impactful dashboards, data visualization and analytics reports that provide business insights
- Working knowledge of applying statistical methods
- Experience building and managing client-facing teams
- 10+ years working experience in analytics or related work, of which 3+ years includes Analytics Leadership experience
- Ability to clearly and effectively present information to top management and key stakeholder groups.
- Quantitative subject degree, preferred
