The Credit Platform and Configuration Team at T-Mobile, USA provides technical process support for tier 1 and tier 2 solutions that operate Credit strategy configurations for origination and existing customers. Responsibilities include overseeing the intake process for change requests/requirements and the prioritization of workload for upcoming technical releases; Provide Consumer and Business (TfB) Credit subject matter expertise, support, and sponsorship for Enterprise projects; Project management oversight for internal and external (3rd party venders) projects; Develop, execute, and track test cases for various projects; Provide extraordinary customer service in a prompt and professional manner. Credit system/solutions supported includes those on Legacy Sprint and T-Mobile stacks.
The role of the Sr. Manager is to work with the Credit Platform and Configuration teams to elevate performance and improve process efficiencies by bringing a strong technical project management supervision and foster a positive team atmosphere. The individual must have a strong analytical and troubleshooting skillset as well as advanced written and verbal communication abilities. This role is responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and cultivate the adoption of process standards and practices for new and existing processes. This leader will possess the ability to link Credit business processes to the supporting technologies and data within T-Mobile. As a key leader, the individual will be addressing business and technical issues and requirements that impact both current and future functions for systems and data. This is a highly visible role requiring partnership with leaders across multiple business line of business such as Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS), Credit Strategy teams, Enterprise Delivery, as well as Sales and Care Process and Technical Support teams.
- Work closely with IT Staff and vendors to implement any approved solution and/or configuration changes
- Conduct prioritization meetings for approved change requests, project oversight for configuration change requests, system testing, and the successful execution of the configuration changes within service levels for Credit origination and base management systems
- Manage two Business Process team (approx. 15 team members) that support both Legacy Sprint and Magenta technical stacks that are responsible for standardizing configuration change request submissions for consumer and business strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous people management expereince required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related degree
- Experience with JIRA or other similar solutions preferred
- 5-10 years Industry experience in project leading technical deployments, understanding technical process flows, and managing high functioning teams.
- Strong problem solving and communications skills required
- Experience with conflict management and ability to find compromise to accomodate all parties preferred
- Technical writing preferred
- Project Management expereince required
