What We’re Looking For


Vacasa is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Product Management who is truly customer-obsessed, with expertise in Salesforce, custom customer-facing products, and mobile app development, to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the strategic direction and success of our Homeowner product portfolio while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and our field operations teams, you will develop and execute product roadmaps, foster innovation, and deliver exceptional products that meet our business goals.


As the Senior Director of Product Management, you will be instrumental in making data-driven decisions and driving outcome-driven product development. Working closely with cross-functional teams located in US, Chili and New Zealand, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and our field operations teams, you will develop and execute product roadmaps, foster innovation, and deliver exceptional products that meet our business goals.


What You'll Do


  • Continuously gather Homeowner feedback and conduct in-depth market research to gain deep insights into customer behaviors, preferences, and emerging trends. Leverage data-driven insights to validate assumptions, identify customer pain points, and validate product hypotheses, ensuring that product decisions are rooted in customer-centric metrics and outcomes.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of custom customer-facing products and mobile apps that differentiate us in the market, ensuring they align with Homeowner needs, market trends, and business goals. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, actively promoting an outcome-driven mindset and encouraging the use of metrics and analytics to evaluate product performance, measure market differentiation, and guide iterative development.
  • Lead, inspire, and empower a team of product managers, fostering a culture of customer obsession, collaboration, and excellence. Encourage a metrics-driven approach to product development, empowering the team to leverage data and insights to guide decision-making and achieve measurable results.
  • Bring extensive experience and expertise in Salesforce, including deep knowledge of its capabilities, best practices, and integration possibilities. Utilize Salesforce data and analytics to drive product improvements, optimize customer interactions, and identify growth opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that deeply understands our Homeowner needs, preferences, and pain points. Champion a Homeower-centric culture throughout the organization and lead by example, utilizing data and metrics to inform decision-making and prioritize initiatives that drive tangible outcomes for our customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with executive leadership, stakeholders, and our Homeowners. Collaborate with them to understand their evolving needs, gather requirements, and align product strategies with business objectives. Act as a hands-on contributor in stakeholder meetings, product demos, and Owner interviews to actively address questions, provide insights, and build strong partnerships.


Skills You’ll Need


  • Deep experience working with both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform decisions. Can tell a compelling storyteller with experience presenting concepts and ideas to cross-team partners, engineers, and designers.
  • Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing innovative products.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, market research, and user-centered design principles.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Passion for technology and product innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Extensive hands-on experience and expertise in Salesforce (Sale Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud), including knowledge of its capabilities, best practices, and integration possibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing, iterating, and managing customer-facing products focusing on outcomes and measurable results.

You’ll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.


Compensation


  • $185000 - $215000 / year
