Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing our team of account managers (Brand Growth Strategists or BGS). The BGS are responsible for providing high quality service to our clients by understanding the client goals in regards to the Amazon marketplace, and creating and implementing the strategy to hit those goals. BGS work closely with our Advertising, Creative and Operations teams to deliver results to our clients.

Sr. Director, Brand Growth & Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Set departmental expectations through goals and strategic and operational key performance indicators that align with the company vision goals and strategy.
  • Create vision for BGS product/tech needs and work with the Product Team to implement
  • Coordinate cross department process and systems, with the Advertising team, Creative team and Operations teams
  • Foster ownership to Team Managers by delegating tasks with clarity and trust, ensuring completion through accountability tracking,
  • Understand how to collect, analyze and use data to forecast or create high level strategy and train the team to do the same
  • Create a cohesive leadership team by giving freedom, support (tools and training) and crediting wins to team members
  • Develop and mentor team with transparency and vulnerability to build team trust and each team members’ growth in leadership
  • Lead the team in Amazon expertise
  • Lead the Brand Growth Strategy department to deliver on brand growth metrics and KPIs including revenue growth, client retention, hiring and developing a best in class Brand Growth Strategy team.
  • Help Brand Growth Strategists and Team Managers understand the important impact of their work and how it ties in to the broader organization goals
  • Develop the Brand Growth Strategy leadership team by building on strengths and managing around weaknesses

Minimum Requirements

  • Preferred:
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving and process development skills
  • Amazon expertise
  • Agency experience
  • You have developed and managed KPIs and metrics
  • Written and verbal communication skills with a successful track record of presenting to senior level leadership
  • Required:
  • Expert influencing skills - ability to set expectations and build alignment and varying management levels and client interface
  • You have experience impacting strategic and operational business outcomes
  • Experience leading people and successfully coaching and developing others

What You Need

  • 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
  • A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
  • A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
  • At least 4GB RAM;
  • Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
  • This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
