STATUS: Full time/Salary (40+ hrs per week) REPORTS TO: CEO PAY RATE: $60k - $80k (DOE) + Equity

Position Summary:

We're looking for a dynamic, high energy, analytical, hands-on, strategic marketing leader to create, drive, and execute our marketing strategy in order to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for CRUDE. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully leading all marketing efforts from concept to completion. The position will be instrumental in conceptualizing CRUDE’s marketing strategy and leading the team to implement and execute the integrated marketing plan.

This role will oversee all marketing, including:

  • Own the development, project management, and execution of strategic and tactical programs to deliver appropriate messaging, communication, and marketing plans in partnership with the creative and content team.
  • Integrate brand, product, e-commerce and marketing strategies to create and implement a detailed plan.
  • Execute and manage the strategy and content calendar for social channels, blogs, emails, etc. Manage all aspects and working with agencies/teams.
  • Align and work closely with Founder/CEO, lead annual brand planning processes including campaign planning, budgeting and ROI assessments.
  • Develop marketing briefs that align with the brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Formulate and execute plans to recruit new customers, engage existing, and retain valuable customers that run across channels including social, paid, editorial (content).
  • Manage and assess CRUDE’s current brand marketing activities, and develop new approaches that drive overall objectives in an efficient and value-adding manner.
  • Constantly evaluate initiatives with a fresh approach to the concept of digital marketing and community engagement to ultimately drive both customer and revenue growth.
  • Own, run and mange brand revenue, launch calendar, and marketing calendar.

  • Compile all data and insights from marketing activities and ensure all marketing efforts are driving against goals. Ensures content calendar is set and all parties are working together.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Analyze monthly and quarterly all results against agreed objectives delivering clear and concise reporting to leaders
  • Contribute to goals, specifically focusing on increasing new customer acquisition opportunities and engaging existing leads through retention programs
  • Plan operational and promotional actions supporting long-term marketing strategy to increase AOV, reduce churn, improve overall life time value (LTV) and therefore support net revenue growth of the business
  • Monitor campaign trends in the industry to improve strategy and competitiveness
  • Develop and communicate digital marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations
  • Devise, launch, test and optimize campaigns across the customer lifecycle and within the multiple channels
  • Increase retention, reactivation rates and average turnover per user
  • Ensure CRM campaigns are consistent, attractive, cost effective, relevant and aligned with other areas of the business, at all times
  • Create multi-channel campaigns across Email, Loyalty, Onsite-Personalization, Social Media, Direct Response and Programmatic Marketing to improve customers engagement rates
  • Plan, budget, forecast and track spending per channel
  • Work closely with content and creative team to develop and maintain an editorial calendar and manage content development for PR and social
  • Regularly test, evaluate, report, and measure results of ongoing campaigns to continuously improve conversion rates
  • Manage the full Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process from the planning, costing, model building and execution of ongoing D2C campaigns
  • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Create sophisticated customer segmentation, tailored offers, and identify opportunities for automation
