Sr. Developer, IT Store Backroom | Oracle PL/SQL | (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite)

This position is responsible for designing, developing and/or configuring, building, reviewing, and unit testing software and solutions, as well as being a liaison with business users and other IT teams to provide technical and functional software solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile process
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in design, development, maintenance, and support of J2EE technologies and Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Strong knowledge Oracle database architecture, data model design and experience in implementing custom application using PL/SQL and SQL.
• Object-Oriented PL/SQL programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of Architecture, Design and experience implementing design patterns, especially model-view-controller, container application, inversion of control, and dependency injection.
• Knowledge on writing automated unit tests is preferred
• Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred
• Strong knowledge of profiling tools, memory management, load testing and performance tuning
• Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team
• Strong knowledge of Data Loader, database objects like Package, Procedure.
• Hands on experience with Git, Gitlab/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, SVN and Jenkins/Bamboo
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches to most solutions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support web services and container-based applications is required.
• Experience with Retail industries is preferred.
• Experience with mobile apps is preferred.
• Experience working in an agile environment a huge plus
• Experience in automating software builds, test executions and deployments

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of REST, Microservices, Angular, or Node JS
• Experience working in an agile environment a huge plus
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX, web front-end design, Javascript, CSS and HTML
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team
• Hands on experience with Git, Gitlab/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, SVN and Jenkins/Bamboo
• Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred
• Strong knowledge of web and application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat and Apache httpd is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Architecture, Design and experience implementing design patterns, especially model-view-controller, container application, inversion of control, and dependency injection.
• Knowledge on writing automated unit tests is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) programming language
• Strong knowledge of profiling tools, memory management, load testing and performance tuning
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches to most solutions
• Familiarity on building interfaces to Peripherals like Label printers is preferred.
