Python Developer ( Contract ) Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in writing scalable code, testing, and debugging applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and possess expertise in working with pandas, numpy, and SQLAlchemy. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of critical financial applications and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective integration of data from multiple sources into SQL Server databases.
• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance Python applications for financial data processing and analysis.
• Perform thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Python development and related technologies.
• Work closely with the team to understand requirements and implement robust solutions that meet business needs.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of developed applications.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to improve application performance and functionality.
• Work independently to take full ownership of assigned tasks and deliver quality code within the agreed timelines.
• Utilize pandas, numpy, and SQLAlchemy to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large datasets efficiently.
• Identify and resolve bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks through debugging and testing.

Requirements:

• Experience in working with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Python developer, with a focus on writing scalable and efficient code.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server database management and querying.
• Familiarity with financial concepts, trading systems, and financial instruments is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of pandas, numpy, and SQLAlchemy for data manipulation, analysis, and database integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
