Sr. Controller ($150,000 to 210,000 + Bonus)

Our client acquires, modernizes, and develops small-to-mid-sized infill logistics industrial real estate assets located near dense population centers. The company has been performing development and construction management services and works closely with a network of vendors to ensure daily onsite overnight of every asset. They have acquired/ developed more than $350 million of real estate assets, and currently have more than 1 million square feet under management.

They are seeking a Sr. Controller who will be primarily focused on the company’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, audit, and tax processes, with a priority on producing consolidated financial statements for a variety of investment portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Delivering timely separate accounts, client reporting, and ensuring adherence to all side letter requirements
• Giving direction and guidance to external Fund Administrators in all areas of investor reporting and accounting
• Formatting, planning, and presenting an annual business plan, budgets, and forecasts to senior executives and/or investors
• Arranging and reviewing quarterly and monthly internal reports and updates

Qualifications

• Superior organizational skills must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.
• 8+ years of progressive Real Estate accounting and/or finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Proficient with Excel & accounting software systems including Yardi, MRI, and AvidXchange.
