Job Description
Additional Details Include


KBW Financial has partnered with a high growth (200% growth) high tech company in the Boston area to identify a Revenue Controller. This newly created role will manage a small team responsible for all revenue operations including technical matters and 606 compliance for a fast paced global company. This role will help build out the process and team. It is a hybrid remote / in office position.


  • Manage financial close related to around revenue recognition
  • Oversee Deferred Revenue and related matters
  • Prepare timely Reconciliations & Management Reports as needed.
  • Develop, train and mentor staff
  • Ensure compliance with Revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • Development of Revenue policies and procedures
  • Assist with preparation of SEC Filings
  • Perform Technical accounting research as it relates to Revenue
  • Responsible for all revenue recognition reporting and compliance requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on revenue to other teams


Requirements


  • Revenue operations / deferred revenue experience
  • Software industry experience a distinct plus
  • ASC 606 experience
  • 7+ years related Accounting Revenue experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA / public accounting highly preferred
  • Strong management experience
