About The Opportunity


  • A company that has been a national leader in the commercial real estate private equity industry for nearly three decades
  • A leading investment firm based in Boston, MA is currently seeking an experienced and professional project/staff accountant


Project/Staff Accountant Responsibilities


  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Collections to ensure prompt payment of all project invoices
  • Review ongoing projects for the purpose of updating owners/managers on progress and to estimate potential profitability of these projects
  • Field questions from management and employees regarding project concerns
  • Maintaining the general ledger accounts


Project/Staff Accountant Qualifications


  • 1-3 years of accounting experience. Real estate experience a plus!
  • Experience in general accounting, job costing and maintaining the general ledger
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
