Our Opportunity


Chewy’s Communications & PR team is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate, Enterprise & Executive Communications in either of our corporate headquarters in Plantation, FL or Boston, MA. The Senior Manager, Corporate, Enterprise & Executive Communications has 10+ years of strategic corporate and executive communications experience with excellent writing and editing skills and a proven track record of content generation across a range of platforms, audiences and formats. Working closely with the Internal Communications team, this candidate will work closely on executive comms including CEO communications, leadership talking points, messaging, strategic internal content creation and management efforts that enable us to deliver clear, engaging, and informative content in the Chewy voice to Team Members across the organization. As a seasoned communications professional that possesses impeccable writing skills, you’ll bring your talents to connect Team Members at Chewy with our mission and culture.


What You'll Do


  • Elevate our communications strategy by creating bar-raising enterprise communications that actively engages, informs and educates internal audiences and advances the goals of the Internal Communications team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic communications counsel and support
  • Draft, edit and review business documents/press releases for grammar, style, and form
  • Develop a wide range of strategic internal communication materials around various topics, organizational news, business updates and announcements and support with channel management
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to key organizational stakeholders, working closely with respective teams to develop and execute strategic internal communications plans; Develop and manage communications for various enterprise functions
  • Provide support with Internal Communications strategy and planning
  • Generate creative ideas for new content and innovative ways to engage readers
  • Drafting and editing CEO and executive communications to include companywide emails, briefings and talking points; Serve as speech and content writer to CEO and senior leaders, including driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials (slides, scripts, messaging documents, etc.)
  • Copy write and produce content for Chewy’s internal communication channels, including company newsletters, videos, emails, digital screens and intranet site
  • Uphold the Communications and Brand Guidelines to ensure communications consistency (style, fonts, language, tone, etc.)


What You'll Need


  • Flexibility in writing style across a range of channels, including (but not limited to) video scripts, email, newsletter content and interviews
  • BA in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
  • Professional demeanor and strong executive presence
  • Ability to readily adjust to changing workloads and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to collaborate and build close relationships with cross-functional internal teams
  • Expert command of the English language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation; Working knowledge of AP style and ability to follow in-house style guides
  • A strategic thinker with a talent for articulating ideas and presenting work to internal partners
  • The ability to create compelling narratives and capture reader attention
  • Ability to stay self-motivated and accountable to deadlines, prioritizing projects as needed
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar subject matter quickly and write about it authoritatively
  • Possess a strong curiosity about Chewy’s culture to effectively communicate with our internal Team Members
  • An accomplished communications professional with 10+ years of writing experience in corporate and executive communications, public relations and/or marketing communications
  • Comfortable working with executive leaders at all levels
  • Adept at writing for a wide audience, including senior leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
