What you will be doing

The Sr. Manager will be responsible for selling in our new Albertsons Media Collective toolkit to clients, building and executing client annual marketing plans to support joint business growth with clients in the categories they represent. They will also be responsible for maintaining client satisfaction with campaigns via outstanding customer service from initial campaign kickoffs to execution to sharing final reports with periodic check ins along the way. They will build, nurture, and maintain client relationships through the entire process and will meet with clients to understand priorities and ensure campaigns are running properly and delivering on expectations. We are looking for a strong, collaborative, and driven leader who is passionate about clients, excellent customer service, selling performance marketing solutions, and driving joint business with strong ROI’s.

We are looking for candidates with a sales mindset and the desire to curate solutions that meet client needs with a proactive, data-driven approach. Bring your passion to the table and we will provide coaching and direction on navigating and selling Retail Performance Media. This role will directly manage a team of 3-5 people.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop talent within the organization, recruit, develop and mentor a lean, agile, highly efficient performance marketing team.
  • Evaluate KPI’s and optimize campaign performance using a data driven approach.
  • Monitor campaign trends to find actionable insights.
  • Manage and own an End-to-End sales process inclusive of Pipeline Development, Proposal, Negotiation through Close stages.
  • Help to deliver and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic business partnerships and relationships with sales, clients, and other cross functional partners.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to upsell clients on current offerings.
  • Accountable for forecasting and consistent financial reporting on a specified book of business.
  • Develop and drive consistency with processes in order to provide superior client support and escalate any feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Own the development of strategic plans that align to and support category growth
  • Ensure all campaigns are executed with excellence and results are always communicated.

The salary range is $118,600 to $154,240 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Benefits may include, medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • P & L skills and interpreting financial reports
  • 7+ years of experience in a fast paced, analytical, and client facing role.
  • Seasoned in process, managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams.
  • History of critical thinking with an ability to tackle unique programs and projects with a positive and problem solving mindset
  • Extensive experience and proven track record of selling, building, and executing annual plans with top CPG partners.
  • Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Analytically comfortable building a strategy and story using large data sets
  • Advanced knowledge (3+ years) of all aspects of digital advertising, media and/or publishing with an ability to layer that knowledge to produce meaningful insights, council, and planning for our clients business objectives.
  • Strong track record of executing successful collaborations across internal and external teams.
  • Extensive experience and proven track record of selling, building holistic plans, delivering excellent customer service, and executing annual plans with top clients to achieve strong results and to deliver annual sales goals.
