The Role

As the Sr. Business Analyst, you will be a key player in gathering, synthesizing and presenting our customer data, and providing our engineering team the information they need to support our customers and further improve our products. You will also synthesize the data and present it clearly and concisely to our customers. The person in this position will be pivotal in ensuring our customers' needs are heard and translated to our internal team, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - 150,000 + equity + benefits. As a pre-revenue company, equity is a key component of compensation. Our salary ranges are determined by data from our industry peers, the level of responsibility, job-related skills required, training, education, experience, and the current stage of Miso’s growth. The range posted for this role represents a range that Miso Robotics, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

What You’ll Do

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver and support all customer experience goals, programs, and practices across the organization.
• Create financial models and projections to support business decisions and strategy.
• Define and audit success criteria for Miso’s products and services.
• Synthesize the data and communicate key takeaways to the team and leadership.
• Use data management tools to create a continuous stream of data to analyze, measure, and evaluate customer behaviors and sentiments.
• Define and audit product metrics, such as usage, retention, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, sales and operations to provide data-driven insights and guidance.
• Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to analyze metrics and communicate learnings and insights from various data sources both internally and to our customers.
• Analyze customer insights and feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and trends.
• Use best practices to develop and define metrics to collect and analyze customer data and feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work directly with senior leadership.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel; experience with Python, R, or other programming languages is a plus.
• Ability to be a self-starting and inspiring leader.
• This role can be hybrid, but the ability to work in our HQ in Los Angeles, CA (Pasadena) a few days a week is required.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative field, such as economics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
• Passionate about robotics, AI, and the restaurant industry.
• Great at managing multiple tasks and getting things done in a fast-paced environment.
