Job Description

Position Overview:

Operates manufacturing equipment within a production facility. Installs, mounts, fastens, aligns and adjusts parts, components, wiring and infrastructure components. May also perform electrical and mechanical assembly of various components to be assembled into a final product. Ensures units are developed and integrated according to assembly and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots systems and makes repairs on the line.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of specialization in assembly and fabrication of assigned product areas.
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
  • Conducts routine quality checks.
  • Notifies repair team when / if the system fails and is unable to make the repair on the line.
  • Obtains the highest level of consistent performance (significant number of units per hour and quality attainment).
  • Recognizes points of failure in the flow of production work, and recommends solutions to management.
Required Qualifications:
  • May require technical certification of Associate Degree.
  • Generally, 5+ years’ experience in area of responsibility.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
