Sr. Accountant Jobs

Top manufacturing client in the MetroWest is adding to staff due to growth a Sr. Accountant. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance functions and the month-end close process. The primary responsibility will focus on accounts payable, intercompany transactions, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and assist with cash forecasting, month-end close journal entries, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities

• Management of cash ledgers.
• Support the Accounting and Finance functions ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Process Employee expense reports.
• Assist third party on annual Tax and Audit.
• Preparation of monthly journal entries, and supporting schedules, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Full ownership of accounts payable.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Assist with ERP implementation.

Qualifications

• Works well independently but understands the importance of working as a team.
• Strong contributor with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude; can thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment and is very “hands-on”.
• Ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
